PUMAS SAY NO DEAL TO UNITY MEETING
Obama had to finally admit where the big Unity Event would be held as the Press needed reservations and hotels. Unity, New Hampshire, a tiny town of 1500 residents and 37 square miles is not easy to get to. The big O rally will be held at an elementary school stocked with 2500 Obots. You have to have a ticket to get in and you must ride a shuttle from outside the town ( again with a ticket ) to get to town. PUMAS are organizing a protest rally but I would bet, we will NEVER see them. People attending have been told NO SIGNS ( WHEN HAS A POLITCAL RALLY EVER SAID NO TO SIGNS! ) You can keep up with it and read about it here.
http://pumaaction.com/ -- I wish one of us could go.lol- the PUMAS will probably be rounded up and dropped of in the forest! GO PUMAS!

Obama Asks Top Moneyfolks to Help Clinton Retire Her Debt
June 24, 2008 7:34 PMTahman Bradley-->
ABC News has learned that on a conference call with his national finance team this afternoon, Sen. Barack Obama, D-Illinois, asked his top contributors to help Sen. Hillary Clinton, D-NY, retire her more than $10 million in outstanding vendor debt. He did not specify an amount.
Clinton's debt has been a major point of contention as the two former rivals attempt to reconcile.
Clinton will appear at an Obama fundraiser Thursday night in Washington, D.C., and the two will campaign together in Unity, NH, on Friday.

Poo Bear as our National Security Advisor

Foreign policy architects could benefit from studying Winnie the Pooh and Star Wars, according to a Barack Obama adviser who is set to attend a meeting of the Democratic candidate’s national security work group Wednesday.
Richard Danzig, former Navy secretary under President Clinton, drew several creative and unusual analogies to explain the challenges America faces overseas during a foreign policy conference in Washington, D.C., last week, according to an article in the British newspaper The Daily Telegraph.
In arguing that the country should back off a policy that causes too much pain, Danzig said, “”Winnie the Pooh seems to me to be a fundamental text on national security

Harpo is there some reason why you are singleing me out. Your note to me said there were technical difficulties. Please send me the part of the thread that you consider to be offensive as compared to the numberous threads complimenting Obama and offending Clinton.
I am legally disabled and would like to know if you are singling me out for some "special' treatment. My attorney is sitting here with me and would like to observe your answer.

I'm sorry you feel we are singling you out. That is never our intention. We are answering and addressing your questions and concerns about postings being removed. As we posted on numerous reminders to the board community, we do not allow postings which violate the Terms and Conditions. Those posts are removed.

Im sorry Harpo but I have made no inquiries or requests for your help or intervention on my behalf.
Therefore, I was assuming that you were following me around since there was nothing offensive in the Thread that I posted. I posted information that is public information. There was no vularity, there was no attack on other posters... I am at a loss as to why you would be concerned about little old me.
Since I copied the whole thread in anticipation of it being removed per your practice of removing Threads that are not complimentary to Mz Winfrey candidate I can send you a copy if you would like.

HI, the thread was fine. I clicked into it to see what new posts there were since it said it was (updated) which tells me there are unread posts. Then I noticed the system error and notified you that I reported it. The technicans are looking at it right now and trying to figure out why it locked up like it did. Hopefully it can get resolved.
Then I saw your posts about the thread and therefore responded. We did not remove your posting. The message board system locked up on that thread for unknown reasons. Anyway, Hopefully it will be resolved soon. I'll let you know if I hear anything more on it.
Have a great night.

No Pro Obama posts
This is Hillary Clinton for President.
I will remove the pro McCain post about his pledge to add women to his government. I think however, that to post any Pro Obama post would be sacriligous.

My Picture
I put a pic on my profile. I feel a little weird showing my face after all of the terrible posts I've made...lol :)
This is my favorite picture of all time. It is of me and my two daughters when we were all younger. We weren't even dressed for the photographer. I had forgotten he was coming. But, it turned out to be my favorite photo. I am glad I didn't tell the photographer to come back another day. I like that we were just as we were and that I now have this picture of me and my girls.
We've been through a lot together over the years.

OPRAH MESSAGE BOARDS CENSORS ALL ANTI OBAMA POSTS
In the last several days, the Oprah message boards have deleted every anti-Obama post within seconds of posting. I have had 20 posts deleted today. I posted a quote of Obama from an audio tape that I have and it was deleted- the thread. I then posted a thread asking Harpo why it was removed, without re quoting the thread- and this was removed. I posted the Obama Rapid Responder talking points- and it was remved 3 seconds after posting. Greg and other republicans have told me their threads and posts are immediately removed as well. Anti Clinton and Mccain threads remain even if abuse is charged. This is WRONG as Orpahs boards are FUNDED by ads. These are the same dirty tricks that the media and Obama Campaign used against Clinton. Does anyone have an idea as to how to address this ( CHANGO ?) Please keep track of posts that are deleted. This whole Obama thing is getting scary folks !!!

HILLARY CLINTON SUPPORTERS NEW GROUPS
http://clintondems.com/- A GREAT SITE- MY GUESS IS THERE ARE SOME CLINTON INSIDERS HERE- PLEASE SIGN THE PETITION ON THE FRON PAGE.
CITIZENS FOR MCCAIN- JOE LIBERMAN STARTED THIS GROUP 2 DAYS AGO TO REACH OUT TO THE CLINTON SUPPORTERS. YOU CAN GO TO THE MCCAIN WEBSITE AND CLICK ON IT.
HERE IS THE EMAIL
From: Senator Joe Lieberman Date: June 5th, 2008 Today, I asked Senator McCain if I could create and chair a new grassroots organization, "Citizens for McCain." Citizens for McCain is an organization within the McCain campaign for people who put country before political party and support the candidate for President who has a proven record of bipartisanship. As you know, I caucus with the Democrats as a United States Senator and was the Democrat Party's nominee for Vice-President of the United States against President Bush and Vice President Cheney. But first and foremost, I am an American. I have an obligation to do what I think is best for our nation regardless of political party. My love for this country and strong belief in John McCain's character, judgment, and willingness to work with leaders of both parties has convinced me to support him for President. I have worked with John McCain for many years in the U.S. Senate and know from experience that he can unite Democrats, Republicans and Independents like no one else in this country. He did it in the United States Senate and he can do it as President of the United States. But we need help from McCain supporters such as you to reach out to Americans who are not currently involved in the campaign. Will you help us by recruiting your friends, family, and co-workers who may not consider themselves members of the Republican Party and ask them to join the Citizens for McCain organization? I am confident we will find many Democrats and Independents who, like John McCain and me, put country before political party and will support a leader with a real record of bipartisanship. Time and time again John McCain has put his country first. He refused early release when he was held captive in Vietnam. He continued to put his country first as a national leader in the U.S. Senate. He put country before party when he fought to pass campaign finance reform, sought a bi-partisan solution to the immigration problem, and consistently supported pro-environment policies. His courage to stand up to the failed Iraq war plan of Secretary of Defense Donald Rumsfeld and lead the fight for a new strategy in Iraq will go down in history, and it saved American lives. These were not always the easy things to do. In fact, they were usually very difficult, and often threatened his political career. But John McCain did what was right. He said it best in his speech in New Orleans on Tuesday night:
"(The American people) know I have a long record of bipartisan problem solving. They've seen me put our country before any President -- before any party -- before any special interest -- before my own interest. They might think me an imperfect servant of our country, which I surely am. But I am her servant first, last and always."
The phones at the campaign headquarters have been ringing with disaffected Democrats calling to say they believe Senator McCain has the experience, judgment, and bipartisanship necessary to lead our country in these difficult times. Many of these supporters are former supporters of Senator Clinton. Senator McCain has had a very good working relationship with Senator Clinton and will continue to do so in the future. In the same New Orleans speech he said:
"Senator Clinton has earned great respect for her tenacity and courage. The media often overlooked how compassionately she spoke to the concerns and dreams of millions of Americans, and she deserves a lot more appreciation than she sometimes received. As the father of three daughters, I owe her a debt for inspiring millions of women to believe there is no opportunity in this great country beyond their reach. I am proud to call her my friend."
I am proud to call John McCain my friend and ask you to help our friend become the next President of the United States. Please forward this email to your lists today and ask your friends, family, and coworkers who do not consider themselves Republicans to join me in filling out the Citizens for McCain form today. Thank you for your willingness to help me expand this new organization. Together, we will make history.
I listed several other groups on the Oprah boards.
PLEASE DO NOT SUPPORT BARACK OBAMA. HE IS AN INEXPERIENCED AND VERY DANGEROUS CANDIDATE.

If any of you traitors dare to vote for McCain in the Nov then you shouldn't be considered an American! Hillary lost fair and square. She's a loser, so just GET OVER IT. Maybe Father Pfleger was right about her after all. She feels she is entitled to the Presidency and all you sick minded supporters need some sort of pschological help so that you can realize that.

My Wonderful Friends
My daughter has been a wonderful help to me. She has been reading and writing for me. My son arrives today and he is no push over like she is. Also I will not have my little band of "traitors" to help me out.
I just want all of you to know that I am heart broken as I'm sure most of you are. I know that some of you will pick up and move over to Obama. It has already started on the O board. It has been very sad to hear the vitriolic disparaging of Senator McCain the same way that Obama supporters demeaned Senator Clinton. This from "Progressives" that will not kill a bug but will engage in age discrimination. Tomorrow I will be 59. It is painful to see that we as a country still have any kind of discrimination.
I am so proud to know all of you and to call you my friend. I am so proud of the way we supported our candidate. I would like to keep the Blog going to be able to communicate with each other. Frankly I want to keep the name if that is alright with all of you.
However, in order to adhere to the principles of fair play, integrity, and honor, I cannot at present support Senator Obama. I have asked several of his supporters to send me sound information so that I can take one last look at him with objectivity.
In the interim We have had a block meeting and a family meeting and have raise a few thousand dollars to send McCain on Friday after Clinton's speech. I hope that this will not change anything between us as I have come to treasure all of you.
See you next week, when the eye shields come off and so do the gloves.
What a Joke! Oprah!
Out of respect for the fact that the "O" board, is Oprah's own site after all. I decided I would voice my opinion on this matter here instead. This morning Baz reported that Oprah decided to finally speak for Obama "again". Apparently it was on the news this a.m., according to Baz's post, Oprah was "jumping for joy" said she is "thrilled" about his nomination and would be willing to go "door to door" for him if he asks her to.
What a joke! I know she has the right, just like any other American, to support whomever she chooses to. But, I find this quite amusing...First she comes out in all her glory to support him, showing up at events, etc. Then, when issues (dirt) start to finally come out on him and we see some vetting ,albeit quite late. "Poof" she disappears without a trace or word and has remained silent all this time, while punches were being thrown.
Now, after it appears he has the nomination, she's back...oh brother! No wonder she supports him, they're just alike, indecisive...at least in the publics eye. They go one way, then the other, depending on what will gain/lose them support. The same as BO was about T.U.C.C and Wright.
Again...What a Joke! Too bad my door would probably not be on that route!

If Hillary decides to run as an independent or never runs again. Or even if she runs as VP, please buy items from her store. It's a great way to contribue and get a slice of history. As the first woman to run a presidential campaign, her collectables will be very valuable.

PROBLEM WITH A POSTER ON THE "O" BOARD
I have not publicly said anything until now, but a poster on the "O" site has really been giving me a very hard time. Under the various screen names she has had over the past few months, she has sent me numerous PMs - terrible ones in which she was name-calling and angry that I had not responded to every post she had posted and that I did not answer particular posts the way she thought I should.
I do not share a lot of my private life, but I have a daughter who has been on chemotherapy for some time now. She has been very ill at times and had to undergo extensive surgery in which 4 surgeons had to be in the OR working on her at once about a month ago. It was very touch-and-go for a time and it was one of the most difficult times of my life. I have been taking care of my grandsons most days and some nights and working my job as well as taking care of my daughter and getting a little respite now and then on the message boards - because it is a respite for me - something I have always found relaxing and sort of takes me away to another place for a breather and a little friendship.
As my daughter was healing from surgery and began doing better, I was able to have a little more time to be on the message boards. Suddenly, I began receiving just awful PMs from this poster. She seemed angry that she did not have a cable TV and wanted me to look things up for her and send her links to online programs and provide her with information - something I am not too familiar with myself because I am not that computer saavy. I don't really know how to pull up a TV show as it is playing. Anyway, she called me a few choice names and told me that she had posted to a couple of my threads and then listed threads she wanted me to post to. She was sending me about 5 or 6 - sometimes more PMs every day.
At the time, on some days, I was at the hospital with my daughter and did not even come home or get on the computer at all. When I finally did get on the computer, I would have several nasty PMs waiting for me from this poster telling me I was ignoring her - how dare you think you can ignore me, etc.. I explained that my daughter was ill and that I had not been on my computer and that I was only able to spend a few minutes at a time on the computer when I was at home because I was spending a lot of time at the hospital. She responded with a very offensive PM and then, after saying some awful things, wanted to know the details of my daughter's illness. This is a person I do not even know, by the way. I responded to her post as kindly as I could, but did not go into detail about my daughter's illness. She wrote back saying something like, "I asked what was wrong with your daughter and you didn't even tell me," and then she went into an angry tirade in another PM and said I was a terrible "friend" and some other things.
I PMd her back and told her that I liked her and that I enjoyed her posts and that I tried to be supportive of her on the message board. I said I may have missed some of her posts because of my lack of time on the message board and also that I tended to go to the post posted last rather than to the beginning of the thread - I think most other people do that as well. I said that I could not be counted on to be on the message board when she may want me on the message board or to respond to every single post. I said I go onto the board as a respite and to relax with no pressures on me by other people and that I want to have the choice to be on the board and to respond to the threads that interest me, but that I would try to pay special attention to looking for her posts while I was on the board and try to respond to them.
She wrote back and was very hostile. She told me she had been banned several times and that she thought I did not speak up on her behalf enough. Most of the time, I did not even know she had been banned. But, the one time I did know, I actually did post in her defense asking for her to be given another chance.
There is a LOT MORE to this story, but suffice it to say it has been kind of a nightmare. So, tonight, she is under a new screen name on the "O" Board and asked about Hillary's speech. She apparently missed it on CNN which is where I saw it and which is where I told her that it was on as well as other news networks. She said she did not see it. So, someone had mentioned that it may be on You Tube, so I posted that information for her. I wrote:
"Someone said that they may be putting it up on You Tube...Check there."
This is her response to me:
"Nurse"lady", what a fake you are. You care nothing for anyone. No wonder you're a hit when no one has to be close to you."
I am not sure what she even means by this, but some of you do know her on this board and it is not my wish to offend any of you here on this board because I love my interactions with you and I consider you friends. So, I felt a need to let you know that I will no longer be responding to this person. It has nothing to do with anyone else, just her. If it seems like a problem or a disruption here, please let me know and I will remove myself. But, I just cannot allow this to continue with this person.
